Moody Makers is a monthly meet-up for tender creatives to socialize, art-it-out, and share their feels with others! 

A theme is suggested each month to inspire creativity, but it is not required that you follow it. Make whatever your moody heart desires!

It's Spooky Season! So in honor of the classic Halloween film, Hocus Pocus, this month's theme is: "Amuck! Amuck! Amuck!"

"Amuck" or "amok" in its literal definition describes an uncontrollable frenzy, typically associated with violence. But in its popular use today (and in the movie!), it often refers to getting into mischief, acting wildly or unpredictably, being rebellious or naughty, having a lack of self-control, or general chaos.

• What do associations of "running amuck" bring up for you emotionally?

• When was the last time you ran AMUCK (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc.)?!

• What colors, textures, shapes, images, or symbols describe your feelings or memories?

We will spend our time working on our creative projects throughout this 1.5-2 hour event. Feel free to chat with one another, create silently, ask questions, quietly listen to music or others, etc. Participate as much or as little as you'd like (the facilitator will be monitoring and checking-in as needed throughout). Participants are welcome to share their creative work with the group, as well as any reflections, insights, or thoughts, about making their own art work.
